Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Hungary signed the agreement for readmission

Pristina, 15 May 2012- Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, Bajram Rexhepi and the Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Kosovo, Lorant Balla, signed the Agreement on Readmission between the two countries.
Signing of the Agreement on Readmission is a continuation of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in the process of fulfilling the criteria for visa liberalization.
Minister of Internal Affairs Bajram Rexhepi said that the signing of readmission agreement with the Republic of Hungary is fulfillment of one of the conditions for Visa Liberalization and we are presenting ourselves as serious state towards international obligations.
Whereas Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary to Pristine, Lorant Balla said that this is a important agreement between the two countries and pave the way for the safe return of persons who have not resolved their status in the Republic of Hungary.
The agreement is based on legal regulation of relations between two countries regarding Kosovo citizens who have not solved their status in the Republic of Hungary and their safe return to Kosovo.
The signing of readmission with Hungary is the first international agreement between the two countries.
