Mission and activities
Civil Registration Agency (CRA) will operate in accordance with the MIA's mission, its strategic documents and a clear vision for building, maintaining, increasing the general security and offering qualitative services, professional and advanced based in the democratic values and standards of impartiality and professionalism.
Providing quality services to civic and professional in the field of civil status is the main objective of the CRA.
Establishment of CRA is based on the government's decision which determines the duties to "provide all services to citizens and residents who apply for identity cards, passports, citizenship, civil status documents, driver's license and documents vehicle registration.
Administrative Instruction, 17/2010 defines the structure, the organization and functioning of the CRA. CRA consists of the following departments:
The Department for registration and civil status
Department for documents production
Department for vehicle registration and drivers license
Department of Information Technology and Communications
Office of the Inspectorate
Office for coordination and cooperation
